Wine of the week
2019 Valentina Passalacqua Nero di Troia extremely limited, we are one of a handful of retailers with inventory on this item
regular $29.99 weekly special $26.99
The kind of red you can read the newspaper through. A spry wine, that starts with seductive aromas of violets, earth and dried herbs. On the palate, nervy acidity up front gives way to sour cherry and candied raspberry accented by lavendar and thyme with a dash of sea salt and moderate tannins. The finish lingers with tart cranberry and wisps of iodine. The type of wine that goes down a little too quick, but you really want to savor. As good as it is now, I feel another 3-6 years of age will really do it wonders. Certified organic farming with biodynamic practices.
