Made by Scott Schultz of Jolie Laide, the Pinot Gris for this wine was sourced from organic vineyards in Contra Costa County. This sees a 3-day maceration yielding a pretty, dark rosy color and a somewhat oily texture. Sort of dusty on the nose, it’s got plenty of red berry and citrus, with cream soda overtones. The finish is super plummy, and kind of spicy, becoming saline finally leaving a lingering plum skin. Farmed with organic practices.
