Upon opening there is a slightly reductive, leesy quality to the nose that blew off as the wine opened up. It's a great expression of Chenin: medium-bodied with a bright acidity and loaded with orchard apples, melon, ripe citrus and pineapple flavors. There's a delightfully creamy texture and a slightly spicy finish. It's everything you've come to love about South African Chenin Blanc and a good example of why it's gained such a stronghold in the country's wine culture. Certified sustainable farming.
