From the sunny slopes and sandstone soils of the Pfalz wine region in Germany. The Pfalz is renowned for its bold, structured Rieslings, in general, reds are difficult to ripen in the cold viticulture climates of Germany. With that expectation we were incredibly impressed and surprised to find that Borell-Diehl is rich, ripe and juicy with medium body, cherry-cola, and tart cranberry flavors mingle with hints of earthy minerals. Fantastic find and value from this estate grown, family winery. Farmed with sustainable practices.
