Produced from grapes from Coteaux du Layon, but labeled as a Vin de France because it does not meet the legal requirements for RS (read: this wine is drier). Sort of nutty/oxidative but also lots of honey and juicy stone fruit on the nose. Medium-bodied, with a juicy, slightly sweet mid-palate, leading to a drier finish with lots of peach/apricot, pear, and botrytized spice. Very silky, beautifully textured, and a little oxidative. Complex, but also easy going. Certified organic farming.
